The royal decree has been issued approving the decision of the Council of Ministers to appoint H.E Mr. Ahmed AlSawai as the Secretary-General of the Audit Bureau in the second group of the higher category. 
H.E Mr. Ahmed AlSawai has extensive experience in the field of audit. He began his professional career at the Audit Bureau of Jordan in 2000 until 2009, working for 23 years in technical and supervisory positions in prestigious audit institutions such as the Financial Audit Authority in the Government of Dubai and the Private Office of H.H the Ruler of Dubai.
H.E AlSawai holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Yarmouk University and holds several specialized professional certificates, including the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certificate from the Institute of Management Accountants, as well as the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certificate from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. Furthermore, he is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
