The President of the Audit Bureau, Dr. Radhi Al Hamadeen, received in his office today Her Excellency Ms. Stella Kloth, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and extended his congratulations to her on the occasion of assuming her official duties.

The meeting discussed avenues of cooperation between the Audit Bureau and the Netherlands Court of Audit, with a focus on strengthening collaboration through two key programs:

SHARAKA Program – funded by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with technical support from the Netherlands Court of Audit, aiming to enhance the Bureau’s audit capacities by integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into audit methodologies.

SHIRAKA Program – also funded by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, dedicated to improving public financial management practices through training civil servants on internationally recognized standards.

Her Excellency Ambassador Kloth reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, represented by the Netherlands Court of Audit, to continue providing full support to the Audit Bureau, particularly in the field of capacity building. She further emphasized the valuable lessons drawn from the SHARAKA and SHIRAKA programs, which reflect the depth and quality of the longstanding cooperation between the two sides, and the shared objective of advancing audit mechanisms in line with European best practices.
